Common questions
How do I bring in a timeline?
Tap + on the Weddings screen and choose a file (PDF, Word, Excel or text), a photo or screenshot, or paste the text. PDF files from Mail, Messages and Safari: tap the attachment, then Share › Timeline by BSR. You’ll see what’s kept and hidden before saving.
Timeline missed a moment. How do I add it?
Open the wedding, tap ⋯ › Add moment, or use “Add a moment the timeline missed” at the bottom of the schedule. To bring back a line Timeline hid, tap ⋯ › Show planner lines, then swipe the line and tap Keep.
A screenshot or photo imported with no times.
Make sure the whole timeline is in focus and not cropped. Long scrolling screenshots work. If a photo is blurry, paste the text instead, or send the image to support so the reader can be improved.
Can I see the planner’s original document?
Yes. Open the wedding and tap ⋯ › Original timeline, or find it under Edit details. Weddings imported before this feature show the text Timeline read; import the document again to keep the original.
Moments happen at different places. Can I set a location?
Yes. Tap a moment and set its location — the getting-ready suite, the church, the rehearsal dinner. Timeline fills some in from the planner’s document, and a moment’s location opens in Maps.
How do I see what’s next on my Lock Screen?
Open the wedding and tap Show on Lock Screen on the “Up next” card, or ⋯ › Live Activity. It shows the next moment with a countdown on the Lock Screen, in the Dynamic Island, and on a paired Apple Watch. For widgets, touch and hold your Home Screen or Lock Screen, tap Edit › Add Widget, and choose Timeline.
Golden hour and sunset look wrong.
They’re calculated for the venue’s location and the wedding date. Open ⋯ › Edit details, check the venue’s address and date, and tap Locate venue (this needs a connection once).
Can I use a light theme or a different colour?
Yes. Settings › Appearance: choose Dark or Light, and one of six accent colours.
What does the free version include?
Everything, for up to two new weddings a month — the count starts again on the 1st. Updating a wedding with the planner’s new version doesn’t count, the sample doesn’t count, and your weddings always stay open. Timeline by BSR Pro removes the limit for the busy season.
The planner sent a new version. Do I start over?
No. Open the wedding, tap ⋯ › Update from a new version, and import the new document. The schedule is replaced; your notes, done marks and the moments you added stay.
How do I restore or cancel Timeline by BSR Pro?
To restore a purchase on a new iPhone, open Settings › Restore purchases in Timeline, signed in with the same Apple Account. To cancel a subscription, open the iPhone’s Settings › your name › Subscriptions, or see Apple’s guide. For refunds, use Report a Problem — Apple handles all payments.
Where is my data stored? How do I delete it?
Everything stays on your iPhone. Deleting a wedding removes it and its imported document; deleting the app removes everything. See the Privacy Policy.
