Privacy policy
ScorePad is a scorekeeping app for in-person games. This page is the privacy policy Apple asks for on the App Store.
What we collect
Nothing of yours. ScorePad does not create accounts, does not include analytics or advertising, and does not send your games to a ScorePad server.
What stays on your iPhone
All of this is stored on the device, using Apple’s on-device storage (SwiftData and UserDefaults):
- Player names and optional photos you choose
- Games, rounds, scores, and when a game was played
- Settings, including which games appear on the Play screen and your theme
Delete a player, a game, or all data from Settings and it leaves the phone. Uninstalling ScorePad removes the app’s data with it.
In-app purchases
Scoring, history, and every game are free. The only in-app purchase is a lifetime unlock for extra themes. Purchases go through Apple’s StoreKit. ScorePad never sees your payment details. Restore purchases uses your Apple ID with Apple, not with us.
Photos
Player photos are optional. If you add one, it is stored on the device with that player. ScorePad does not upload photos anywhere.
Backups
You can export everything as a JSON backup from Settings, then share that file yourself. Importing a backup writes that data back onto the phone. ScorePad never sends a backup anywhere on its own.
Children
ScorePad does not collect personal data from anyone, including children. There are no accounts and no tracking.
