Privacy policy
Brickr is a brick breaker for iPhone and iPad, made by Brian Rossen. This is its privacy policy.
The short version
Brickr collects nothing. There are no accounts, no ads, no analytics and no tracking. Nothing you do in the game is sent to us.
What stays on your device
Brickr keeps your game on your iPhone or iPad, in the app's own storage:
- Each player's name, stars, best scores and best times on each level
- Pals and looks you've unlocked, and the ones you've chosen
- Your Daily Dash times and Endless records, for the house leaderboard
- Stats such as bricks broken, and settings such as music, sound and haptics
Deleting Brickr removes all of it.
Game Center
Game Center is optional. If you're signed in to Game Center, Brickr sends your scores and achievements to Apple's Game Center under your Game Center profile, so they can appear on leaderboards and friends can see your Daily Dash times. That information is handled by Apple under Apple's privacy policy; Brickr never sees your Apple Account. You can sign out of Game Center, or change who sees your profile, in the Settings app.
Purchases
Unlocking the full game is an in-app purchase handled entirely by Apple. Brickr only learns whether the unlock is yours; it never sees your payment details.
Children
Brickr doesn't collect personal information from anyone, including children. Player names stay on the device.
This website
The Brickr app collects nothing. This website (brianrossen.com, not the app) uses Microsoft Clarity to see which pages people visit, where they came from, and where they click and scroll, so I can tell what's working. Clarity sets cookies to do this and masks anything typed. Browsers that send Global Privacy Control aren't recorded. This privacy page doesn't load it.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version will be posted on this page with a new date. A change that would collect anything would be said plainly here first.
