How do I add a receipt to an expense?
From a trip, tap the add button and choose camera to photograph a receipt on the spot, or import from photo to pick one you already took. TripStub reads the total and date off the receipt automatically where it can, so you can adjust before saving.
How do I generate an expense report?
Open a trip and use the ⋯ menu in the top right — Share Trip emails a PDF summary with every expense and receipt photo attached, and Preview PDF shows you exactly what it will look like first.
Can I customize what shows up on the PDF?
Yes. In Settings, you can add your name, email, phone, or a payment note, and toggle each one on or off independently for what appears on the report. You can also rename any category or add your own.
Where is my data stored?
Everything — trips, expenses, receipt photos — stays on your iPhone. TripStub doesn't have a server and doesn't sync your data anywhere. See the Privacy Policy for the full details.
