What Sprig collects
Nothing. Sprig has no account, no login, and no server of its own. There is no data collection, no analytics, and no third-party tracking of any kind — this is declared in the app's Apple privacy manifest, which you can inspect directly.
Where your data lives
Your lists, items, and settings are stored only in this app's local storage on your iPhone. Sprig does not sync to iCloud or any other server, and nothing you type is ever uploaded anywhere. Deleting the app deletes your data.
Intelligent Add (on-device AI)
When you paste text, take a photo, or pick a screenshot to turn into a checklist, that content is processed entirely on your device — using Apple Intelligence where available, or Sprig's own built-in parser otherwise. Nothing you paste or photograph is sent to Sprig, Apple, or anyone else over the network.
Camera and Photos
Sprig asks for camera access only so you can snap a photo of a handwritten or printed list to convert into a checklist, and for photo access only to pick an existing screenshot the same way. Images are read on-device and are never uploaded or stored by Sprig beyond the checklist text extracted from them.
Siri & Shortcuts
If you use "Hey Siri, add to [list] in Sprig," that request is handled by Apple's on-device Siri processing and Sprig's own code — it doesn't involve a Sprig server, because there isn't one.
Purchases
Sprig's one-time unlock is handled entirely by Apple's StoreKit. Sprig never sees or stores your payment details — that's between you and Apple, the same as any App Store purchase.
Children's privacy
Sprig does not knowingly collect information from anyone, including children, because it does not collect information from anyone. There is nothing to collect.
Changes to this policy
If this policy ever changes — for example, if a future version of Sprig adds an optional feature that does involve a server — this page will be updated to reflect exactly what changed and why.
